Today my lucky girls were particularly privileged and met Lora Sutton. Laura studied here at Alton 6 years ago and since then has achieved a degree in Fashion and secured a "proper" job in the actual fashion world, as a junior designer for a well-known retail chain. The fashion world is harsh, it is stressful, demanding and not the best paid, and sometimes it is good to bring this to the attention of our students, who I do believe, often assume that they will breeze through uni and walk straight into a top job at McQueen - sadly, this is quite unlikely. Lora tells it like it is and is a very talented and determined young lady - she would actually make a very good teacher...! So here she is sharing the knowledge!
